This program for ages 4 to 6 is geared towards building greater motor skills and self- esteem by introducing the concept of martial arts. Motor skills are developed with simple, exciting activities that encourage basic physical skills like coordination, balance, and flexibility. Self-esteem is enhanced by the use of goal setting, with the combination of quick, easy, short-term goals, as well as long-term harder goals. Our program helps instill the “I can do it” attitude in each child. Children in this age group thrive in a structured environment where they are encouraged to do their best in a fun and positive atmosphere, and they can learn about respect, discipline, focus, and still have FUN!
Want to improve muscle tone, coordination, and flexibility but think you’re too old or not in good enough shape to learn martial arts? Let us help. Our Silver Belt Program is designed for students ages 50 and up. This program is run concurrently with the low impact Tae Kwon Do class, which is designed to allow people to ease into training in a friendly atmosphere that allows everyone to improve at their own pace.
By using movements based on Tae Kwon Do, our senior student will develop knowledge of the art form while strengthening the body, improving balance, and keeping the mind active. This program focuses on the individual abilities of the student so you can progress at your own pace and not feel rushed.
